Framed embroidery wall-art piece IV
Really loved making this piece...
Did you know that it's:
All the materials used are leftovers from my previous embroidery project 'Transformation'. I really want to re-use materials as much as possible instead of throwing them away
100% hand embroidered with love by me and a lot of hours (A lot!) and using the most beautiful (vintage) yarns and beads to bring depth and create something special.
With so much mass production in the world I choose not to participate and that's why I make only one piece of each embroidery
This embroidery comes with a frame and passe-partout but without glass.
Height: 23 cm
Width: 18 cm
Color: Middle brown with a white/grey wash
Art work including passe-partout
Height: 19 cm
Width: 14 cm
Materials used for embroidery:
Merino wool/fake leather/lace/goldwork thread/beads/crystals/embroidery floss/silk organza/silk paint
Please don't expose this piece to direct sunlight all day because no piece of art likes that :)
In a fast-paced world, I created my own universe where beauty is made by hand and stories unfold. To see the process of yarn and beads transforming from solely material into art is always a magical moment. My goal is that people pause for a minute and take time to look at my embroidery art, see the craftsmanship and perhaps discover their own story.
